The city of Korba is located on the bed of the rivers named Hasdo and Ahiran. Korba is counted as one of the most significant districts in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. PALI - Located On The Bilaspur – Ambikapur Highway (NH.111) At A Distance Of 18K.M From Ratanpur Is The Small Village Of Pali. On The North-Eastern Side Of The Village Is A Large And Beautiful Lake On The Bank Of Which And Remains Of Several Ancient Tampal’s. The Most Famous Is A Shiva Temple the Outer Windows Of The Tampal Are Carved In The Style Of The Khajuraho Tamples Intricate Carving Can Be Seen At The Entrance Of The (Mahamandapa).

Lafagarh
Lafagarh Is Situated Around 70 kms Away From Korba(Chhattisgarh). Lafagarh Fort, located On The Highest Peak Of Mekaal Mountain,It Is Situated At A Height Of 3060 Height On The Hill Top.The fort lies On The Korba-Bilaspur Road. It Was Constructed By Raja Pratwidev First. The Fort Has Three Main Entrances Which Are Named As Menaka, Humkara, And Sinhadwar.A Small Temple, Situated At The Main Entrance Of The Fort, Is Noteworthy. Another Point Of Attraction Is The Big Dome Supported By Five Rows Of Pillars With Each Row Having Five Pillars. The Main Outer Door Of The Fort Is Called Jhandi Or Dinda Door. The Second Door Is Popularly Known As Manka Dawar Whereas The Third One Is Called Hukhra Dawar.

The Fort Has Three Main Entrances Which Are Named As ‘ Menaka’ , ‘Humkara’ And ‘Simhawar’ From Mahishasur Mardini Temple Is Situated Hear The Idol Of Mahishasur Mardini Is Having 12 Hands Is Standing In The Sanctum Sanctorum. Sitamani Temples & Caves: These caves are another of the popular attractions of Korba. There are statues of Rama, Sita and Laxman present in these caves, which are cut out of rocks.

Kendai Waterfall: The altitude of the waterfall is 55 feet. It is located at the Tiger Point.

Kanki: The distance of the renowned Shiva Temple is 20 Kms. Kankeshwar Mahadev Temple is another name given to this temple.
